A Regal Undertaking

Drive north on Plankinton Avenue from Interstate 94 in downtown Milwaukee, and you’ll have a hard time missing one of 3Up Metal Works’ latest metal fabrication and installation creations!

We partnered with the experts at Innovative Signs to build and install a new lighted rooftop sign for Regal Rexnord Corp. Its bold green and blue colors are especially vibrant after dark. Day or night, the sign makes a statement!

Our metal fabrication professionals designed and built the sign’s support frame, and sturdy holders for its 5-foot letters. During installation with the Innovative Signs team, they welded the fully-assembled, 50-foot wide sign onto an existing rooftop support.

We don’t do high-profile, visible-from-miles-away projects every day. Usually, it’s functional, non-flashy infrastructure work that helps industry operate safely and efficiently. Suffice to say, it’s rewarding when your craftsmanship is displayed for all the world to see, 10 stories high!
