Follow the Yellow Roof Railing ...

Our Milwaukee metal fabrication team recently completed a looooooong project in some pretty trying conditions. As these photos illustrate, though, you can’t miss their outstanding work!

These veteran metal fabricators created and installed 430 feet - yes, you read that correctly - of rooftop safety railing at a packaging manufacturer in Menomonee Falls, Wis. The work also included several ladders and platforms.

The new infrastructure is identifiable by its bright yellow color. Our customer, much to its credit, takes safety seriously. Prior to installation, our team was plenty busy designing and creating the pieces in our Milwaukee metal fabrication shop!

Conditions were far less than ideal during installation, though. The hot, sometimes humid weather of July descended. Working atop an elevated roof, our team got the job done while sometimes feeling like they were working in a frying pan.

The results speak for themselves, though. The bright yellow railings provide more than a barrier - they often, in many cases, demarcate a drop-off that workers can consciously avoid. Safety is as much about warning of potential hazards, as physically preventing mishaps.

We’re proud of our fantastic metal fabricator professionals. They took on a big job, completed production on schedule, and installed their craftwork under conditions that would make a camel sweat. They’re the reason for our success - and we’ll give all the credit they richly deserve.
