Our Milwaukee welding shop recently designed, created and installed an exterior maintenance staircase at a biomedical company. The new piece extended from an existing platform, allowing easy and safe access to the building roof. The “before” image below shows the green metal platform, which leads to a second-floor exterior door.

Installing the staircase was not going to be easy. It was a heavy angled piece, with two platforms and nearly 20 steps connecting them. The staircase would have to be lifted to the existing platform, and held in place while connections were made, and supports installed..

Thankfully, our Milwaukee welders had reliable partners to call upon! Our good friends at M. M. Schranz Roofing and Sunbelt Rentals helped set the staircase, and securely attach it to supports. The images below show the work in progress

The end result? Working together, the project was completed safely and on time. It’s always a pleasure working with great partners … and together, we’re all more successful doing so!
